The Manhattan oozes class - and the plush lined, fitred hard case is prety special too. Looking not dissimilar to a D'Aquisto New Yorker Classic, its minimalistic lines and contrast of natural wood set against solid ebony fittings make it look and feel good. The Manhattan's full 432 mm about 17 inch body is topped with laminate spruce, while the 77 mm rims and back come in laminated flame maple. The ebony fretboard is free from abalone and pearloid and not only looks like, but feels like a slab of black marble, with black dot position markers on the top edge's cream binding. The 22 frets are cleanly finished medium gauge, the nut is proper, and nicely cut, while the scafred maple neck is super smooth and comes with a shallow "C" profile. the "crown" headstock sports a mother of pearl manhttan motif and Grover tunners with solid ebony buttons. Ebony is again used for the tailpiece, adjustable bridge and pickguard. Electrics are supplied by a black-cased floating mini-humbucker.
- SOUNDS
Vintage guitar presents the good sounds, you can play with one tone. The blance of body and the boxy makes a sports instrumental. If Perrless Manhattan use the amplified, its perfectly sound. Excellent sound is possible, clear and clean sound in every tone.the handling of Peerless Manhattan makes it a modern playe, but sonically it echos early days when acoustic volume was king.
